Man caught with 3 human tongues in Ibadan

Three days after the shocking discovery of what is now known as a horror forest at Soka area of Ibadan city, where scores of human skeletons, skulls and decomposing and mutilated body parts of dead  bodies were found, a man was yesterday caught with three human tongues.
The man, who appeared as a mad man was caught at Oni & Sons Bus Stop, Ring Road. He was subsequently attacked by a mob, who threatened to kill him after linking him with the “horror forest.”
Residents of the area, an eye witness said, had been suspecting the movement of the middle aged man in the area.
More than 400 posters of a governorship aspirant were also among the items found under the bridge where he kept his property. Bra and undies of different sizes and other female clothes were found on him.
But many still believed that the man was simply a mad man. Before the man was mobbed, the police came to his rescue and he was taken to the Oluyole Police Station, where people thronged to catch a glimpse of the items found on him.
Another man was beaten to pulp by angry mob, who allegedly found in his possession two Black Berry, another phone and a booklet which contained list of human parts and their prices.
He was attacked at Yemetu, by mob who suspected him to be a member of those operating at Soka forest of death.
When contacted, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), of Oyo State Police Command, SP Olabisi Ilobanafor said that only a forensic test could determine whether the tongues were human’s or not.
According to her, the man was a destitute. She also said that the man had been taken to the state Criminal Investigation Department (CID)for further investigation.
The PPRO however, warned members of the public to desist from taking laws into their hands, expressing worries that since the discovery of Ibadan horror forest, angry mobs had been attacking people indiscriminately on every little suspicion.
According to her, one person had been killed and another person was rescued by the police.
