Suspected vandals have punctured the pipeline at Takwa Bay area of Lagos State.According to the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, the explosion occurred in the night around 12:00 midnight.
Farinloye said, "Valves and supplies have been shut down to suffocate the fire already. Safety officials from NNPC Atlas Cove base are already working to put out the fire."
He added that, "as a follow up to capsized boat yesterday, the missing body of the victim of the boat mishap at Tin Can Island have been found.
