Meadow Walker is letting the world know that she's doing fine, despite the recent custody battle swirling around her. At the tail end of the Fourth of July holiday weekend, the 15-year-old daughter of the late Paul Walker posted an upbeat snapshot to Instagram for friends and fans.
In the pic, the brunette beauty lounges seaside wearing a print bikini with sunglasses propped on her head and a beaming smile on her face. "Glad to be back," she captioned the shot.
Not surprisingly, users were quick to show their support for Meadow.
"You look great! I'm so proud of you! Stay strong, and be happy," msmanuelaaa wrote. Sayidhusna echoed the sentiment, sharing, "Stay strong. Your daddy is always around with you." "Stay strong meadow, you're a warrior," Larigazola declared.

While it's clear that Meadow wants everyone to know that she is holding up well, it's been an undoubtedly trying time for the teen since Paul's sudden and tragic death last November. In addition to losing her father, she has been at the center of a heated custody battle being fought by her mother, Rebecca Soteros, and her grandmother on her father's side, Cheryl Walker.
Though Meadow grew up largely with her mom in Hawaii (and has been living with her since Paul's passing), she had moved in with Paul and Cheryl in Los Angeles a few years before his death. What's more, in his will, Paul clearly stated that if anything happened to him, he wanted his mother to be Meadow's guardian.
Rebecca and Cheryl each made a claim to the teenage girl — who also happens to be the main beneficiary of the late star's estimated $16 million fortune. The legal battle became very ugly, very fast, and has included allegations that Rebecca has issues with alcohol, which her camp has passionately denied. Mama Walker dropped the custody bid in mid-April, and Meadow has been living in her mother and nanny's care.
While the teen has never commented publicly on the situation, it seems she is keeping her focus on the positive aspects of her life, including afternoons at the beach and celebrating her father's legacy during World Oceans Day.
