Jessica Simpson tied the knot with Eric Johnson on Saturday after a nearly four-year engagement. Us Weekly
reports that the singer married the former NFL tight end at the San
Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California in a ceremony that included their
two children, Maxwell and Ace. Also in attendance were the bride's
sister, Ashlee Simpson, and Jessica Alba.
"We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment," the pair said in a statement to People. "To say 'I do' in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives."
Simpson,
33, and Johnson, 34, got engaged in November 2010 after dating for nine
months and had postponed their wedding twice. Their first child,
daughter Maxwell, was born in May 2012 and their son Ace was born in
June the following year.
This
is the second marriage for Simpson, who had previously been married to
98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey from 2002-2006. Their marriage was the
subject of the MTV reality show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, which ran from 2003 through 2005. Johnson was previously married to stylist Keri Johnson.
