Osaze finally begs Keshi

aze finally begs Keshi
Osaze
In-form Stoke City forward, Osaze Odemwingie,  may be close to making a return to the Super Eagles fold as  he has  reportedly tendered an apology to Coach Stephen Keshi and the Nigeria Football Federation for being unruly.
It would be recalled that the former West Brom Albion star posted several twitter rants at Keshi and the NFF, following his exclusion from the South Africa 2013 African Nations Cup  squad  where the Super Eagles eventually triumphed.
Speaking yesterday in Lagos, Keshi’s men blew the lid over the issue,  declaring that the player had pleaded guilty and had been forgiven.
“We are not God. So, who are we not to forgive? Osaze realized his mistakes and has sent  an apology letter to the Federation. So, he has been forgiven and let’s take it from there”, The Big Boss said.
“But  we will definitely find out in a matter of days if he will be included in the training camp ahead of the World Cup.
“For me, discipline is very sacrosanct in our camp as far as I remain the national team coach because it  is very key to our achievement so far,” Keshi stated.
Osaze last played for Nigeria two years ago, during which he left the pitch with a tantrum because he was substituted. Keshi has had to deal with the recurring  problem of  indiscipline and big ego in the team, which  was why he dropped Osaze and Ik Uche.
Meanwhile,  the  possibility of Villareal of Spain  striker, Ikechuchu Uche, making  the World Cup squad  may have been foreclosed as Keshi insists that the player is undisciplined.
“I have said I wouldn’t talk about Ik Uche again, but for the last time, I’m going to talk. He is a good player, but not a team player and it is only such players that can make this Eagles,” he declared.
Keshi also denied the allegation that the player’s refusal to allow him  act as his manager was responsible for his exclusion,  saying there was no iota of truth in the claim.
